An adjective is a word describes or modifies the nouns .*
الصفة عبارة عن كلمة تصف أو تحددالاسم.
*Example: Ahmed is an intelligent boy.
.*It comes before a noun or after some verbs
تأتى الصفة قبل الاسم أو بعد بعض الأفعال مثل:
be - feel - smell - taste - sound - seem – look
*Examples:-
- He looks smart. - She is beautiful.
- The food smells good. - It is an interesting story.
* An adjective is singular. There is no plural form for adjectives
الصفة مفرده دائما ، فهي تستخدم مع الاسماء المفردة و الجمع دون أن تتغير.
*Examples:-
- They are clever students. - We bought new books.
* نستخدم بعض التعبيرات للوصف مثل
to + inf. ….. the first / the second / the third /' the next / the last
*Example:- - Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon.
?لاحظ أن الصفات المنتهية بـ ed تصف العاقل و الصفات المنتهية بـ ing تصف غير العاقل.
